HerStory

This was the first initiative of World Wide Women Group. We were able to capture the stories of nearly 100 women. We provided a platform that was therapeutic for the ‘Herstorian’, as well as the audience. There are so many women we walk by everyday, never knowing the contents of their lives. We thought, what if the story of one of those women, could be the very thing to save another woman’s life? This was the purpose of HERstory, allowing the release of one woman’s pain to spark the liberation of another.

Return to Royalty

Return to Royalty has served as a two-day event that celebrates the dichotomy that exists in every woman's life- the beauty and the grit. It was created with the intention to shatter the barriers that separate women from all walks of life. The Royal Soiree occurred on Day 1; this was an annual gala, celebrating our service throughout the year and honoring women who used their influence to spread positivity throughout the world. The Rally was our curated “judgment-free” zone where we expose women to new ways of connecting and building relationships. Through story sharing and challenging group activities, women connect with others much different from themselves on levels they’d never imagined.

Survivors Celebration

This was one of the biggest birthday celebrations ever. It was created to

bring together survivors of all diseases: cancers, abuse, divorce, molestation, rape, addiction, and so much more. On this evening, we honored all survivors collectively for the strength and courage they portrayed during their respective times of adversity. Many people never know the true fear and worry that haunts survivors, even after they have won the war, so we came together to celebrate them all. The Survivor’s Celebration served as a constant reminder of what it took for them to be here today.

Men Giving Back

This initiative started as a back to school supply drive, and included many partners, sponsors, and men in the community. Children were able to get  book bags filled with supplies and haircuts. This event then matured to providing back to school supplies, shoes, and clothes, and this was consistent until 2020. We noticed that many organizations stepped up to provided back to school drives and their response to the need allowed us to pivot to another need- the holiday season. The men of Men Giving Back provided Turkeys during Thanksgiving, bikes and the fulfillment of wish lists during Christmas. Thanks to The Rebel Society, Irving’s Detailing Salon, and countless others we have served nearly 2500 people throughout the Hampton Roads Community.

The Influenc-Her Awards

This was our way of saying thank you to the women in our community who strive every day to make a difference. These awards consisted of 5 categories: The Collegiate Award (college student), The Change Maker (education), The Advocator (community), The Executor (business), and The Lioness (best all around). The awards were presented at our annual Royal Soiree. The Collegiate Award was accompanied by the Elton L. Pope Scholarship of 500.00.

Geaux Rogue

Geaux Rogue was a five day summit where women learned to dream again and spend time nurturing and manifesting their own dreams in a fun, brave, bold, and daring way. These women experienced an adventure like never before.  By the end of this event they learned the importance of releasing all the baggage of life that held them down so that they could realize their dreams.
